Kimon Argyropoulos has been with the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) since December 2023, where he coordinates its Distribution and Client Disclosure Standing Committee. As a Regulatory Policy Advisor, Kimon is focused on EFAMA’s advocacy on fund distribution and investor protection related topics, primarily covering the MiFID II and PRIIPs frameworks.
Kimon has held a variety of policy positions at European level. Prior to joining EFAMA, he was at the City of London Corporation where he followed a range of European policy topics, namely on sustainable finance, covering files such as the SFDR and CSDDD. Before that, he worked for Seas At Risk, where he worked to advance the organisation’s advocacy against plastic pollution.
Kimon holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Manchester in Politics and French, and a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and Foreign Policy from City, University of London. He speaks English, French, Greek and Spanish.
