The European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) has today published its latest Investment Fund Industry Fact Sheet*, which provides investment sales and asset data for May 2013. 26 associations representing more than 99.6 percent of total UCITS and non-UCITS assets at the end of May 2013 provided us with net sales and/or net assets data.

EFAMA publishes Annual Asset Management Report

Brussels, 10 July 2013: The European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) has published its Sixth Annual Review of the Asset Management industry in Europe. The report focuses on the value of assets professionally managed in Europe, with a distinction between investment funds and discretionary mandate assets, across both the retail and institutional landscape.

This years review highlights include:
Assets under Management (AuM) in Europe stood at EUR 13.8 trillion at end 2011.

EFAMA-statement---UCITS-V-vote---3rd-July-2013

Brussels 3rd July:

EFAMA, the European Fund and Asset Management Association, believes today's vote is testament to the importance the European Parliament places on UCITS and investors protection.

Regarding todays vote in the European Parliament on UCITS V Peter De Proft, Director General of EFAMA said:
EFAMA will continue to work with the Parliament, the Council and the Commission throughout trilogues.
